Yesterday was my dad's birthday. The family celebrated with riverside dining and a HUGE chocolate cake. Happy birthday, Daddy! (And I love El Caminoes. Finding one around town just makes my day.) Squidlips is a great restaurant with AMAZING seafood and drinks. Since we still obey the Catholic edict of not eating meat on Friday, the best solution was to devour local seafood. Their menu is imaginative. If you are ever in the Melbourne area, you should really check it out. And have a Green Parrot cocktail for me!

Freakin' Out, Man!

Oh my goodness! I just checked the calendar and realized my brother's birthday is in three days!!! ACK. How on earth am I supposed to get him the perfect "I-love-you-forever-even-though-you-locked-me-in-the-dark-garage-when-I-was-three" gift?

Tease him about being an old fart, that's what!

Sure he's just ten years older than me, but his days of being the cool, partyboy are over. Now it's marriage, building his own business, and his two FLUFFY PUPPIES. He can't go out! Mostly because the dogs will tear the house down, which is their superpower.

BUT I DIGRESS.

We'll have our traditional family dinner, birthday boy's choice of restaurant, give him plenty of fishing gear, and down tons of drinks.

Now.... what to wear?
