COVET

There's no rhyme or reason to today's COVET. These are just odds 'n' ends I found while getting distracted from my schoolwork. Hooray internet!

Although this post will probably give you insight to how random my fashion sense is.

Ozone Design thigh high socks/stockings.
I really can't tell you why, but I've always loved thigh high stockings. It's usually too hot to wear them here, they always wind up falling down without a garter (and showing your garter straps is only cute in theater clubs, cabarets, or for your special hunk) and I don't have the right skirt to pair it with. I should qualify that; I don't have the right skirt to pair it with ANYMORE. I can see this with a denim mini, a bit distressed, with biker chains on the belt loops, lacy cami and combat boots (of the fashionable kind) plus hippie jewelry.
But, alas, at 19, I retired my micro-mini denim skirts. That was mostly due to my college lifestyle. Which translates to plenty of late nights and having only guy frineds. Who thought it was hilarious to "pants" each other and me, regardless of what bottoms I was wearing. Or else flipping my skirt up for shits and giggles.
SO. I really can't think of something similar in adorableness I'd pair this with. I'm thinking a white sundress, layered over a lace cami, but I'd have to try it out in real life to decide how I really feel about these. Hm.

I really love this concept. The design is kind of off-putting to me, but the POCKETS. OH. MY. GOD. YES. I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it: there needs to be more skirts and dresses with pockets!
But. Oh my god. Do you see what I see?
ELASTIC WAISTBAND.
EEEEUWWWWWWWW!

First off, I got to say, the model is gorgeous. Healthy, curvy, natural looking tan. Hooray!
Now down to business: the dress. The blue flowers on the side of this really makes me smile. It's like an LBD for tropial climates or occassions without being too South Beach or hooker-esque. And strapless dresses are one of my favorite styles. They are so versatile! As is, with a cardi, over leggings, under a blazer, with a vest, so on and so on, endlessly!

These are pretty little slides for summertime. Laidback for the office, with long, hemmed pants, yet sexorific for date night or partying around town. You can just see the back of the slide, that jagged bit? I thought that was a pretty design element to add, just to make it stand out from all the other slides, sandals, and wedges I see in these parts.
And boy, do I ever see plenty of those.
Anyways, I'm done with today's COVET. Now it's off to do actual schoolwork, and maaaaaaaaaaaybe get some sleep.
Ciao.
