All joking aside, we've found some fabu things for beauty. See what catches your fancy...





Cream Eyeliner:


This product kicks ass, no joke. Goes on much smoother and looks so much better than liquid or kohl liner. Urban Decay makes one, as does shu uemura, Clinique, Shiseido, and tons of others. We first discovered this amazing product at ULTA, quite possibly one of the largest makeup/beauty store we've ever set foot in, and we've shopped all over this great country. We love this, not only because of the ease of application -after all, we found kohl to be easily applied as well- but the drama you can bring with cream liner is nothing short of awesome.




Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss:



Nothing beats good ol' lip gloss, unless it's good ol' lip gloss with a picture of a hot guy on the bottle. And that is exactly what you'll find on Pocket Rocket. Our favorite is Eric - Tuxedo Chic. Hot guy in a tux? Drool! Only thing better is that by tilting the tube, you can strip the hottie of your choice to his undies (how cruel to tease us!) and oogle all you want, without a cover charge.





Lip Venom:



Trout pout, not sexy. But a subtle filling or plumping? Hot. DuWoop makes the greatest plumper we've ever tested. It even filled out our aunt's super thin lips, which is, of course, a miracle. The tingle isn't painful, unlike some other products, unless you somehow hit your eye (Warning: DO NOT apply while intoxicated.) Trust us.





Good Vibrations:



We first heard of this product in an issue of Glamour. Vibrating mascara. When we read that article, we were initially wary. After all, we manage to stab ourselves in the eye with normal mascara. What kind of damage would an oscillating wand do? And how fast would it be going? Because if it's like our electric toothbrush or, ahem, other vibrating items, we would have some serious issues. However, we overcame our fear, faced the wand, and fell in love. Honestly, we have no idea how women can live without this! It gets each lash evenly, no clumping or spider legs. No clumps of dried gunk on the lashes. All around amazing!






Lips:



No matter what, we are firm believers that the quickest way for a woman to feel beautiful, radiant and confident, is to apply a coat of mascara and swipe on some lipstick. Even if all she's doing is running out to the bodega for a pack of Parliaments and the New York Times. So, needless to say, lipstick is something we have been testing in order to find the perfect one. Our favorite, for now, is Avon's GLAZEWEAR in Ruby Slippers. Creamy, smooth, sparkly. We love anything with sparkles, in case you hadn't yet noticed.

Another winner, Bobbi Brown. Oh, she can do no wrong. We could find out she sacrifices lambs to a golden idol of Janet Reno and thinks Rush Limbaugh is just a misunderstood genius, and we'd still adore her.







Emerald City:




So, we covered Ruby Slippers above (rimshot) so our OZ references will end there. No flying monkeys, promise.

Anyways, metallic mermaid eyes are going to be huge. So, the best way to go about achieving this look will come from the aid of cream shadow. Laura Mercier makes some amazing cream color. You'll have to look around for an emerald (Urban Decay is probably your best bet), but the colors on Amazon are enough to experiment on your own eye design.
