This may sound strange, but my family doesn't have a real start-of-the-year tradition. But, since my birthday is in early January (today, in fact!) my family usually goes out for dinner. We are waiting until Friday to go to dinner this year. I can't wait to relax with my family and hold my nephew. Even if he is teething and grumpy.
One of my personal traditions is to once again try my hand at love.
Ah, youth.
