As I mentioned a few times, I'm in love with what is being called "boyfriend shorts". These knee length shorts always used to strike me as being dowdy or preppy, depending on the cut and outfit composition. However, the latest crop of these preppy mainstays has swayed my heart. I don't know if it's my maturity, the fresh color palette, or the wicked heat, but something has given me a fever.

{Seriously, how cute are these?!}
Since my latest vow not to buy anthing from the big retailers, and only thrift store items under five buckaroos, I've gotten my crafty streak back. So far, I've butchered a number of old jeans and thrift store pants into cute, breezy shorts. The process is easy peesy, and am I lemon squeezy for not thinking to do this ages ago!
The DIYODS step-by-step process will be recorded tonight, then edited and posted. Hope to see you back for the easiest DIY ever.
Until next time, lovers!
