As you all can gather from my previous posts, I'm quite fond of ridiculous song lyrics for my titles. Incidentally, I have spent quite a bit of time smoking in boys' rooms. Ah, college. Fond memories of cigarettes and sloppy makeouts. Add coffee, and those were my three main food groups!
I digress. The following DIY is pretty dang simple; people have been doing variations on it for ages. Instead of going for a frayed hem look, I decided to try and keep some of the tailored look. I guarantee you, this will be on of the simplest DIYs you will ever do.
What You Need:
* pair of jeans (for boyfriend style, I'd recommend men's jeans from a thrift)
* scissors
* strait pins
* sewing machine or needle and thread
Step 1:
Put the jeans on, and mark where you wish to cut, just above the knee. Remove and snip strait across the leg from your marking.

Step 2:
Turn inside out and hem the bottom about 1/4" to 1/2" depending on the length you want. Using the strait pins, keep the hem in place.

Step 3:
Sew! I used a single strait stitch to lay the hem down, and reinforced my end stitch. Trim excess thread and/or material.

Step 4:
Viola! Style any way you want!
