Fever Dream

The latest addition to the Pendergast series by Lincoln and Child. Like the others, it involves a strange death that Pendergast and Lt. D'Agosta of the NYPD, must investigate. Only the victim is none other than Pendergast's wife, who was mauled by a lion twelve years prior.

I haven't gotten very far, but it is gripping and action packed so far.

This is another guilty pleasure. Latino dance beats, misogynistic lyrics, thug posturing. It's all so much cheese and I can't help it. I think it's hilarious and fun to shake my booty to.

I am a fiend for Thai food. There aren't too many Thai-only resturants where I live, but the ones that do serve Thai are delicious.

Drinking

Champagne

Crisp, bubbly, and timeless. I'm putting down the cocktails for a bit, and decided I will only sip on wine or champagne. Something about champagne just makes an evening feel more sophisticated, instead of the usual drink-dance-drunk-puke-in-the-gutter evening.

Oh, to be young.
